12th South, the neighborhood "next door," is currently exploding with growth. For many of us who have lived in Nashville - the neighborhood is all too familiar. In 12th South, you see trendy shops and restaurants along sidewalks filled with neighbors enjoying the warm community vibes. There are too many hot spots to list, but stop by Urban Grub, Jeni's Ice Cream, or Imogene and Willie. This multi-use area is quickly becoming the "Abbot Kinney" of Nashville.
A large number of the original homes have been torn down and replaced with modern floor plans, roof top terraces, and front porches designed for today's lifestyle. There are limited condominium projects in this area, but several projects are in progress. Nearby is Sevier Park, a beautiful and simple park with a great location, only about 5 minutes walking distance from the best 12th South restaurants! You can even find a weekly seasonal farmer's market in the heart of this neighborhood.
